The 25 milligram Prairie Dog Aurum® gold bill is a special, limited-edition add-on to the existing Natural Treasure Aurum® series (which would complete the collection for a total of six bills). The bill showcases a Prairie Dog in Pawnee Butte, located in Northeast Colorado. On the front side of this bill, an observant and social prairie dog is featured as a large profile on the right and a small reverse in the lower left. In the upper right corner, there are pure gold paw prints showcasing the small but mighty prairie dog’s classic gait. Multiple levels of micro-printing and security elements have been embedded throughout the artwork.

The front side of the 25mg Prairie Dog Aurum® Gold Bill (2025) features a profile of a single prairie dog looking out across a vast landscape. The background depicts Pawnee Butte, Colorado, part of the prairie dog’s natural environment. A silhouette of the prairie dog’s paw print appears in the upper right corner, while a full-body depiction of a mature prairie dog standing at attention appears in the bottom left corner of the bill.
Denoting the 25 milligrams of pure gold in this bill, “25” is printed in the top left and bottom right corners and appears across the background. On the bill’s reverse side, there is an image of seated prairie dog peering out into the distance, against a simple background.
